Rooted Rising Development Media Initiative is a grassroots, youth-led movement that uses storytelling, art, and community engagement to advance climate justice and gender equity in frontline communities.
It educates people in simple, relatable ways while amplifying the voices of women, girls, and marginalized groups most affected by environmental harm.
The initiative works to debunk false solutions and challenge climate misinformation, using media and creative expression to inspire collective action toward a just and sustainable future.

So many stories. So many people. So much movement. From climate spaces, to feminist spaces, from building Rooted Risers Africa to learning, creating and organizing we have been moving. And honestly, we are grateful. Grateful to everyone who trusted us with their stories, built with us, opened doors, challenged us, and kept showing up.
